Emerson Burris is a live-sound mix engineer, systems engineer, and RF engineer with 10 years experience in live sound.
Along with a passion for live performances, he has achieved boundless success in a quickly advancing career, working with artists such as the southern Rock N’ Roll group Blackfoot, Heavy Metal group Megadeth, R&B artists Jill Scott and Alicia Keys, and Americana musician Lyle Lovett, and more.
Emerson has carefully crafted his career, working closely with his artists to produce a fully immersive and captivating experience for the audience along with careful thought to the performer’s style, while simultaneously sprinkling on a little creative juice to taste.

Emerson has continually challenged himself by diversifying his knowledge and striving to remain on top of the ever-changing industry.
He served several years at Naples Philharmonic orchestra hall in Florida mastering the art of mixing acoustic orchestras to create crystal clear soundscapes. In Orchestral settings, Emerson has worked with artists such as Michael Feinstein and Mark Wood of Trans Siberian Orchestra.
He continues to find new challenges to overcome, and new techniques to remain in a state of continual growth.
Currently, Emerson works as a freelance engineer and specializes in mixing, system engineering, PA optimization, and radio frequency engineering. He is no stranger to state of the art technologies and continues to stay current with the ever-evolving live sound industry.
Emerson finds tremendous joy in the industry. The people, the sights, and of course, the Sounds. This has lead to unsurmountable discoveries of new sceneries, new challenges, and new Family.
